Bella Bolle Bella Rosso

Bella Bolle'

Bella Rosso

Brachetto grapes produce light-bodied, highly aromatic wines with distinctive notes of strawberries. The grapes for Bella Bolle' Bella Rosso are sourced from the provinces of Asti and Alessandria located in the Piedmont region of Northern Italy which is known for its rolling hills which provide optimum conditions for growing grapes.

After harvest, the de-stemmed grapes are placed in stainless steel tanks where they are macerated on the skins at 50°F to extract the delicate aromas and rich color. The grape must is then seperated and stored at 32°F until bottling.

Just prior to bottling, the must is allowed to warm which naturally starts fermentation, turning the grape must into wine. Once the desired alcohol (5.5% maximum by law) and pressure levels are reached, fermentation is halted and the wine is filtered and bottled. This unique process produces a luciously sweet red wine in the frizzante (slightly effervescent) style.
